Outline (in English)

Mastering of database technology including data processing and data analysis required for researches in university and for business in society.
This course introduces Applied Infomatics to students taking this course.As an introduction to Applied Informatics we first learn methods of data processing and data analysis. Next in this course we learn the concept of database and ways of database's operation using some database management systems.
The goal of this course are to understand advanced concepts of database crucial to the basis of modern network.
Before/after each class meeting, students will be expected to spend two hours to understand the course content.
Final grade will be calculated according to the following process term-end report: 40% and in class contribution: 60%.
