Outline
The purpose of this class is to learn fundamental career theories including the basic mind for career development, the process of job-hunting and recruiting, the ways that companies work, and the social environment surrounding an individual career and organizations at which you will work.
Learning objectives
Students who complete the course will be expected to
(1) understand the basic terms and concepts of the career development theories
(2) begin preparation for job-hunting, using your own thoughts, as the first step for lifelong career development/management.
Learning activities outside of class room
Assignments (that include reaction papers, readings, small reports, and others) will be given at the instructor's discretion.
Two hours for preparation and same hours for review may be required for each class.
Grading criteria/policy
Grading will be decided based on the mid-term or term-end examination (50%) and in-class attitudes and regular assignments (50%).

授業の概要と目的（何を学ぶか）Outline and objectives
キャリア論の基本について学習します。その中で、キャリアを歩んでいく上での考え方、就職活動のことに加えて、会社のこと、会社組織を取り巻く社会環境についてもお話したいと考えています。自分の考えと照らし合わせながら参加できるよう、適宜ディスカッション等を行います。

(2)Zoomの場合の参加は以下が加わります。詳細は授業で伝えます。
①音声は指示がない場合は原則としてオフ
②動画カメラは原則オン
（ただし電波状況が悪い場合は、氏名と学籍番号をチャットで伝えたうえで
オフを許可します）

授業時間外の学習（準備学習・復習・宿題等）Work to be done outside of class (preparation, etc.)
任意の宿題（レポートや読書）を適宜出します。本授業の準備学習・復習時間は、各2時間を標準とします。
テキスト（教科書）Textbooks
金井壽宏（2002）『働くひとのためのキャリア・デザイン』PHP研究所。良い本ですが必ずしも購入する必要はありません。授業は配布資料を基に進めます。参考書も同様です。

平日の時間帯なので難しいかもしれませんが、可能であればキャリア・マネジメントⅡのようにゲストを招く回を設けたいと思っています。
その他の重要事項Others
Ⅰは理論編、Ⅱは事例偏です。前者は講義が中心ですが、後者では社会人ゲストを呼んで業界のことや仕事、キャリアについて具体的に話してもらいます。Ⅱは現役社会人ゲストを呼ぶので土曜日開講ですが、1回1回の授業がOBOG訪問のような場になりますので、2，3年生の早いうちから受講することを勧めます。好評です。
