Outline (in English)

(Course outline)
This course will cover basic concepts, theories, principles, and practices of public administration/management for students to develop their interest in public issues. In particular, the class is designed as an introduction to the public administration in the central government and will discuss an evaluation of the theoretical and practical issues due to the impact of public management like NPM
(Learning objectives)
Students will deepen their understanding of public administration/management and learn practical applications to solve issues through the series of classes
(Learning activities outside of the classroom)
Before/after each class meeting, students will be expected to spend 2 hours understanding the course content
(Grading criteria/policy)
The grades will be based on a combination of the following
presentation:30%, final essay:30% and in-class contribution:40%
