Outline (in English)

[Course outline] The aim of this lecture is to get a basic understanding about modern theories of legal philosophy. On this understanding, each students choose her or his theme and make reports about topics in actual legal or social problems.
[Learning Objectives] Students can think, analyze and discuss not only legal problems but also social or political problems from the viewpoint of legal philosophy.
[Learning activities] Students other than reporters schould read the relevant literature in advance and clarify their views and questions regarding it.
[Grading Criteria/ Policy] Participants submit a term-end report and evaluate their grades based on normal scores and this report: Presentation:30%, contribution to the class:20%, term-end examination or report:50%
