Outline (in English)

【Course outline】
It is not necessary to explain the importance of the civil procedure. However, the Code of Civil Procedure is not a very popular subject. That is because the civil procedure laws are tedious and difficult to understand. The difficulty of learning the civil procedure law is that it is hard to grasp the whole picture and it is necessary to learn without understanding the position occupied in the whole. Moreover, at the stage of the first grade, the lectures of the civil law and the commercial law which are the premise of the civil procedure are still not completed at all. It is rather difficult for such subjects to self-study by reading books. In the lecture, I want to be able to study sophisticated content happily.
【Learning Objectives】
The goal of this course is to provide students with the same level of understanding of civil procedure law as those who have already studied law.
【Learning activities outside of classroom】
Before each class meeting, students will be expected to have read the relevant chapter(s) from the text. Your required study time is at least two hours for each class meeting.
【Grading Criteria /Policy】
