Outline (in English)

 The aim of this seminar is to help students to acquire an understanding of the processes of sociological research, especially on family issues. At the end of the course, students are expected to understand the subfields of family sociology and learn essential research skills. Before/after each class meeting, students will be expected to spend four hours to understand the course content. Your overall grade in the class will be decided based on the following. In-class contribution: 60%, Assignments (presentations, reports): 40%.
