Outline (in English)

【Course outline】
This course is a tutorial seminar on Asian studies in a small class of the final-year students. This course is to study Asian/International social issues with presentations and discussion and to prepare for graduate dissertations. Students are required to prepare for class discussion and presentations each week and to submit graduate dissertations.
【Learning Objectives】
By the end of this course, students are expected to be able to proceed their own research and to submit the graduate dissertations on Asian/International studies.
【Learning activities outside of classroom】
Students are required to prepare for presentations and discussion as a part of preparation for their graduate dissertations each week. Your study time will be more than seven hours for a class.
【Grading Criteria /Policy】
Grading will be according to (1) in-class contribution/participation (presentations, discussion, etc.) (30%) and (2) the graduate dissertations and the final oral examination (70%).
