Outline (in English)

【Course outline】
The aim of this course is to have each student decide a theme for his seminar thesis about resource management, specifically among the world food, forest, energy issues and etc., and also to have them explore the methodology to analyze these issues. At the end of the year they will submit the thesis.
【Learning Objectives】
The goal of Exercise 2 is to write a seminar theory. Decide on your own theme, research basic facts, construct logically while paying attention to the methodological approach, and submit a seminar theory at the end of the year. The seminar theory must be 8000 characters or more and must have 10 or more references other than the web.
【Learning activities outside of classroom】
Before/after each class meeting, students will be expected to spend four hours to deepen the knowledge relating with the course.
【Grading Criteria /Policy】
Your overall grade in the class will be decided based on the following,
class contribution of 20% centered on the interim reporting and a seminar thesis (A4 7-8 sheets) of 80%.
