Outline (in English)

【Course outline】
The aim of this course is to explore the resource management in the environmental issues, to deepen the knowledge about the trend of food, forest and energy of the world, and also the methodology to analyze these issues.
【Learning Objectives】
The goal of this class is to be able to understand the facts about resource management such as food, forest and energy in the world from the literature. Next, by reading the literature that deeply analyzes the background of the facts of environmental problems, it is necessary to realize that logical consideration with methodologies is necessary to solve the problems. In addition, it will be possible to actively research environmental issues in group research and make full use of methods for logically exploring issues.
【Learning activities outside of classroom】
Before/after each class meeting, students will be expected to spend four hours to deepen the knowledge relating with the course.
【Grading Criteria /Policy】
Your overall grade in the class will be decided based on the following,
60% round-reading resume, 10% summer vacation assignments, 10% contribution to group research, 10% undergraduate research presentations, and 10% class contribution.
