Outline (in English)

The objective of this seminar is to learn "how to see and think sociologically", by looking at the issue of fairness, justice, and togetherness in our daily lives. Students should grasp the essence of "sociological imagination" and the scientific thinking as well.
The goal of this seminar is to find your own "sociological research interest", and to become able to find and tell the answer to your question in an objective, scientific manner.
To accomplish this goal, students need to advance their group research that they have started in Seminar 1 and finish a research paper during the spring semester. In the Fall, students should start preparing one's own research project for graduation thesis. Expected study time for each class is about four hours. The overall grade will be decided based on your contribution to the group research, research paper, and individual research report (100%).
