Outline (in English)

In this course, we will study global issues including the threat to "coexistence of nations and people" and the threat to "cooperation of nations and people". First, we will focus the ongoing cases of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea(DPRK) nuclear development issue (the threat to coexistence) and the Syrian refugee issue (the threat to cooperation). Next, while reviewing past cases, we will discuss the basic concepts of international politics. Finally, considering these concepts and past cases, we will reconsider the DPRK nuclear development issue and the Syrian refugee issue.
Before/after each class meeting, students will be expected to spend four hours to understand the course content.
