Outline (in English)
The aim of this course ist to improve the reading comprehension in German by means of reading various texts on actual topics related to German-speaking society and culture. It is also expected to deepen the knowledge and understanding of German-speaking area.
Before each class meeting, students should check the vocabulary and syntax of the sentences and work on exercises. After the class you are expected to review the text. Your required study time is two hours for each class meeting.
Grading will be decided based on the quality of your preparation for the class and in-class contributions.

授業の概要と目的（何を学ぶか）Outline and objectives
ドイツ語圏の社会や文化にかんするアクチュアルなトピックをとりあげた文章を丁寧に読んで、ドイツ語の読解力を向上させます。また、それを通して、現代のドイツ語圏事情についても知識と理解を深めます。
到達目標Goal
・社会生活で用いられる程度のレベルのドイツ語で書かれた文章を、辞書を用いて正確に読むことができる。
・ドイツ語の語彙や成句的表現を習得し、文法の知識をレベル・アップさせる。
・現代のドイツ語圏の社会や文化について説明できる。

毎回、事前に決めた範囲のテキストを予習してきて、構文や成句的表現に注意しながら訳読します。また、各課の練習問題で文法や成句の意味を確認します。各課でとりあげられているトピックについて話し合う機会も設けます。
予習の内容や質問には授業中にフィードバックします。
