Outline (in English)

Production management is a knowledge and technology system for systematically performing the management activities required for efficiently implementing production operations that produce the most important added value for the manufacturing industry. Because the operation of the manufacturing industry covers a wide range, we overview the entire management task and learn management work of individual operations. Furthermore, it deepens for each production method such as line production system, cell production system and Toyota production system etc. In the first half of the Spring semester of this class, we outline the structure of the company, the structure of manufacturing, the system of production management, the management system, etc. centered on production strategy, and outline the procurement, sales, quality control, cost management, delivery date management, facility layout and management , Human resources management, etc. In the latter half of the spring semester, we focus on individual production methods and learn in detail about the method unique to this method. Furthermore, in order to understand the structure of the problem and the path of solution to be generated in the production required as a consultant, exercise the comprehensive case at the end of the last half.
