Outline (in English)

The aims of this course are to understand a developmental perspective including the background, challenges, and methodology of related research, focusing on infancy, childhood, and adolescence, and to understand the diversity and variability of human development.
・By the end of the course, students will be expected to acquire knowledge of developmental psychology research, think about what kind of research methods need to be devised to elucidate what issues, and aim to acquire the knowledge necessary to actually conduct their own developmental psychology research.
・The standard preparation and review time for this class is 2 hours each.
・Both the mini-quiz (70%) and the two assignments (30%) will be evaluated. The mini-quizzes will be graded on both the mini-quiz (70%) and the two assignments (30%). The quizzes will be graded on correct answers.
