Outline (in English)

[Course outline]
In this class, students practically learn how to prepare psychology research plans, analysis methods, how to write papers, etc. with the goal of approaching graduation thesis.
[Learning Objectives]
By the end of the course, students should be able to do the following:
<4th grade>
1.Students can conduct experiments and surveys using highly relevant methods based on previous research.
2.Students can perform correct analysis suitable for the obtained data.
3.Students can express research results with objective and accurate sentences and accurate charts.
4.Students can give an easy-to-understand and attractive presentation about research results.
<3rd grade>
1.Students can properly search for articles on the theme of your choice. Accurately read the specific experimental / survey methods, paper structure, and data analysis methods described in the selected paper.
2.Students can review (overview) multiple previous studies and read them critically.
3.Students can make an effective presentation.
4.Students can make accurate comments on other student's presentations and give useful improvement advice to papers written by others.

The standard preparation and review time for this class is 2 hours each.
[Grading Criteria /Policy]
The overall grade of the class is determined based on the following.
<4th grade>
In-class contribution 40%, graduation thesis plan presentation 20%, graduation thesis final presentation 40%.
<3rd grade>
In-class contribution 40%, presentations on papers 20%, presentations on review papers 40%.
