Outline (in English)

[Course outline]
In this class, students will learn how to set up psychology research plans and how to write papers in a practical and systematic manner with the goal of approaching graduation theses.
[Learning Objectives]
By the end of the course, students should be able to do the following:
<4th grade>
1.Students can properly search for articles on the theme of your choice. Accurately read the specific experimental / survey methods, paper structure, and data analysis methods described in the selected paper.
2.Students can review (overview) multiple previous studies and read them critically.
3.Students can make a unique research plan based on 1 and 2.
4.Students can make an effective presentation.
<3rd grade>
1.Students can properly search for articles on the theme of your choice. Accurately read the specific experimental / survey methods, paper structure, and data analysis methods described in the selected paper.
2.Based on 1, students can formulate and implement a research plan based on the follow-up examination of previous research, and analyze it by an appropriate method.
3.Students can make an effective presentation.
4.Students can summarize research results in the form of a dissertation.

The standard preparation and review time for this class is 2 hours each.
[Grading Criteria /Policy]
The overall grade of the class is determined based on the following.
<4th grade>
In-class contribution 40%, research presentation 60%.
<3rd grade>
In-class contribution 40%, research presentation 30%, mini-thesis 30%.
