Outline (in English)

[Course outline]
In this class, students will acquire basic skills to conduct research using the questionnaire method which is common among psychological measurement methods.

[Learning Objectives]
By the end of the course, students should be able to do the following:
 1.Students can understand and explain the fundamentals of questionnaire development.
 2.Students can conduct a questionnaire study using existing questionnaires (psychological scales).
 3.Students can analyze the acquired data using appropriate statistical methods.
 4.Students can communicate research results accurately and efficiently.

[Learning activities outside of classroom]
Before each class meeting, students are expected to watch and read the materials and then submit their preparatory tasks. The required preparatory study time is about 3 hours. After each class meeting, students will be expected to spend about one hour to understand the course content.

[Grading Criteria /Policy]
The overall grade of the class is determined based on the following.
In-class contribution 40%, research plan presentation 15%, main presentation 25%, group activities 20%.
