Outline (in English)
This course will help students to further improve their speaking and listening skills in Academic English. By the end of the course, students will be able to speak English more proficiently, especially in the area of Academic English, and will be able to better understand spoken English through a variety of listening activities. This course develops the skills acquired in Speaking A.
Homework will be assigned each week. Homework usually consists of tasks on MyEnglishLab, although other tasks may be assigned from time to time. MyEnglishLab is an online tool, access to which comes with the textbook.
Participation: 30%
MyEnglishLab Portfolio: 20%
Final Exam: 50%

このコースでは、Academic Englishのスピーキングとリスニングのスキルをさらに向上させることができます。コース終了時には、特にAcademic Englishの分野において、より熟達した英語を話すことができるようになり、様々なリスニングアクティビティを通して、話された英語をより理解することができるようになるであろう。このコースはSpeaking Aで習得したスキルを発展させたものである。

「英語表現演習（Writing）」(5)(6)(7)(8)、「英語表現演習（Speaking）」(5)(6)(7)(8)、「英語表現演習（翻訳）」(1)(2)と「Academic Writing」の春学期秋学期科目合わせて22科目については、英文学科指定の「定員」が設定されています。また、「事前抽選」を実施します。詳細はガイダンスおよび掲示で案内します。抽選が4月初頭（初回授業日よりも前）に実施されるので、必ず期日内に申請してください。基本的に、春学期と秋学期をセットで履修することになり、秋学期の科目も春学期に申請する必要があります。
「事前抽選結果」発表時には、定員に空きのある科目のリストも掲示します。それらの科目の履修を希望する場合は、必ず春学期の初回授業に出席してください。担当教員が選抜を行う場合があります。
※ 「英語表現演習（総合）」に関しては、別途「事前登録」が実施されるので、履修希望者は期日内（4月初頭）にそちらに申請をしてください。
