Outline (in English)
Course Outline: This course is an interactive lecture, with presentations about what we learn in the class related to Japanese language, and a question-and-answer session.
Learning Objectives: To acquire the skills necessary for writing a graduation thesis (the ultimate goal).
Learning Activities Outside of the Classroom: In addition to using the library for study, students should visit the instructor's office for consultation if needed. As preparation and review of the class, students will be expected to spend about 2 hours to understand the course content.
Grading Criteria/Policy: Your overall grade in the class will be decided based on the following: performance in class (30%); presentation (30%); and report (40%).

授業の概要と目的（何を学ぶか）Outline and objectives
日本語研究に関する各自のテーマについて、調査・分析・考察を行い、発表してもらいます。日本語を研究対象にして、時代を問わず、様々な視点から、自分の頭で考え、自分のことばで表現し、自分なりの論を立てられるようになるための授業です。

最終目標である卒業論文の作成に役立つスキルを身につけます。

ゼミ生による研究発表を中心に行います。発表内容は日本語の研究に関することならば何でも可。ただし、研究に値する解決可能なテーマに限ります。発表者はプリントを人数分準備・配布して発表し、発表後に質疑応答や助言を行います。誤りを恐れず、のびのびと研究発表をして下さい。
