Outline (in English)

Course Outline: Following the contents of Spring Seminar 12A, the aim of this course is for students to pursue his/her personal research theme and conduct seminar presentations. Students will together evaluate the class’s collection of created works and deepen their understanding of children’s literature.
Learning Objectives: Each student will decide on a theme and make a presentation on the topic. The presenter will pose a topic of discussion and is able to discuss the topic. Students will write a final report based on what they presented and discussed.
Learning Activities Outside of the Classroom: Students are to research and prepare for the presentation of the chosen topic. The expected time of preparation and review for class is 2 hours per session.
Grading Criteria/Policy: class participation 20%; presentation 40%; report 20%; original creation 20%. (50% is deducted for each unsubmitted assignment.)
