Outline (in English)

Course Outline: In this course, we will read Heike monogatari (The Tale of the Heike).
Learning Objectives: The goals of this course are to understand Heike monogatari and how to study it.
Learning Activities Outside of the Classroom: Before/after each class meeting, students will be expected to spend four hours to understand the course content.
Grading Criteria/Policy: Final grades will be calculated according to the following process: mid-term report (50%) and in-class contribution (50%).
