Outline (in English)

Course Outline: This course introduces critical reading, logical writing, and the methods of academic research.
Learning Objectives: The objectives of this course are (1) to acquire the ability to read texts correctly, (2) to acquire the ability to search for books and papers, (3) to acquire the ability to put into words correctly and logically what we think, and (4) to understand inappropriate behavior in research activities, such as falsification, alteration, and plagiarism.
Learning Activities Outside of the Classroom: Before/after each class meeting, students will be expected to spend 2 hours to understand the course content.
Grading Criteria/Policy: Your overall grade in the class will be decided based on the following: submission rate of assignments (30%), term-end report (70%).
