Outline (in English)
Course Outline: This course introduces the history of literature and performing arts in the medieval and early modern periods.
Learning Objectives: The goals of this course are to acquire an overview of classical literature and the classical performing arts.
Learning Activities Outside of the Classroom: Students will be expected to use this class as an opportunity to expand their own interests. Your study time will be more than four hours for a class.
Grading Criteria/Policy: Grading will be decided based on assignments (80%), and reaction papers (20%).

授業の概要と目的（何を学ぶか）Outline and objectives
◆秋学期は中世（院政期〜室町時代）と近世（安土桃山時代〜江戸時代）の文学史・芸能史を学ぶ。
◆芸能史の展開を辿ることを中心としながら、主要な文学作品についても解説していく。
到達目標Goal
◆古典文学・古典芸能の特色・表現を知る。
◆古典文学・古典芸能の歴史的展開を知り、日本文化の大枠を把握する。

授業は対面で行うが、状況見てオンラインも用いる。基本的に講義形式で進め、適宜発言を求める。質問と意見はリアクションペーパーで募る。授業のはじめにリアクションペーパーからいくつか取り上げて、フィードバックする。

中近世の文学史・芸能史の流れ
授業時間外の学習（準備学習・復習・宿題等）Work to be done outside of class (preparation, etc.)
本授業の準備学習・復習時間は、各２時間を標準とする。中世・近世の文芸は１４回で収まりきれないほどの多様性がある。授業で紹介する参考文献をもとに、自身で興味を広げる研究をしてほしい。
