Outline (in English)

(Course outline) In this course we learn the history of Greek
philosophy to grasp the base of European thought. We study
from Plato to Plotinus in the term.
(Learning Objectives) The goals of this course are to
understand essences of each thoughts and to summarize the
overview of the historical development.
(Learning activities outside of classroom) Before/after each
class meeting, students will be expected to spend two hours to
understand the course content.
(Grading Criteria /Policy) Final grade will be calculated
according to the following process Mid-term report (30%),
term-end examination (70%), and in-class contribution.
