Outline (in English)

The purpose of this lecture is to consider "feminism" as social thought."Feminism" is a social movement, a social movement that has been a subject of the realization of liberation of women and gender equality.This lecture aims to learn about the historical importance and contemporary value of "feminism", to consider and analyze concrete problems existing in contemporary society.

[Learning Objectives]
At the end of the course, students are expected to be able to gain knowledge about feminism as a social thought and write essays on modern gender issues.

[Learning activities outside of classroom]
Students will be expected to read references and materials to see what knowledge they lack and supplement themselves.

Your overall grade in the class will be decided based on the following.

Short reports : 80%、in class contribution: 20%
