Outline (in English)

Course outline: This course aims at deepening students' ability to understand and discuss philosophy of mind by reading Searle's book 'Mind'
Learning Objectives: To understand human mind more deeply and to acquire methods of discussion on philosophical topics.
Learning activities outside of classroom: Before each class meeting, students should carefully read the assigned part of the text and construct their opinions and after that students should to write a short paper concerning the topic of the day. Students are expected to spend four hours for each class meeting.
Grading Criteria: In-class activities : 85%, term-end test: 15%
