Outline (in English)

This seminar focuses on the importance of non-financial information on corporate activities, such as SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals), CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility), stewardship code, corporate governance code, and ESG investment (sustainable investment), to learn about the corporate image required in a sustainable society and the components of corporate value.
Students are required to learn about corporate efforts toward the SDGs and the Paris Agreement on their own by referring to integrated reports and sustainability reports issued by companies.
Students will be able to gain a deeper knowledge of the future of Japanese companies.
The standard preparation and review time for this class is 2 hours each.
Grading will be based on the final report (70%) and presentation (30%).
