Outline (in English)

In this course, students will learn the richness and diversity of nature and ecosystem services, and will explore ways to solve various problems between the humans and nature mainly from global perspectives, based on the understanding of ecosystems and wildlife.
The goals of this class are to acquire wide and deep knowledge of the above-mentioned matters, and enhance abilities for information analysis, discussions and presentations.
Before/after each class meeting, students will be expected to spend four hours to understand the lecture content.
Grading will be decided based on comprehensive evaluations including qualities of presentations, participation in discussions, motivation for learning, contribution to seminar activities(100%).
