Outline (in English)

"Practical Wisdom for Freedom" Hosei University advocates which survives freedom is mastered at this session.

Everyone understands a social problem and learns new how to work and lifestyle necessary to future society through the practice which is analyzed and proposed.

I pick a social problem (the transformation ability from which handle to social change and a university in population low birthrate society are asked in particular) out and propose specifically as practice of an academic skills.

・ There are activities outside the class for each group. Quantitative surveys (questionnaire surveys) and qualitative surveys (company visit surveys) require a considerable amount of work.
・ It is effective if you have a background in statistics and social research.

* Even if you do not have prior knowledge, if you are willing to challenge high goals, we will do our best to guide you.
However, a strong will to collaborate with others and give consideration to classmates (contribution to teamwork) is essential. The standard preparatory study and review time for this class is 2 hours each.

Grade score
・ Attendance attitude (number of remarks / content of remarks) ⇒ 30 points
・ Every small report (reaction paper) ⇒ 30 points
・ Contribution in group work ⇒ 30 points
・ Term-end report ⇒ 10 points

As a general rule, the above points will be added.
Violations of class rules (distributed in the first class) will not be deducted or evaluated immediately.

In addition to this, we may impose a report of about 1000 to 2000 characters, but the content will be added as a plus alpha to the above points.

A passing score of 60 or higher is considered as a pass.
(People who are absent 3 times or more are not eligible for grade evaluation)

* Strictly forbidden to be late, private language, and dozing will order you to leave.
