Outline (in English)

In this subject, we will learn the information technology necessary for library work.
In the lesson, you will learn about the fundamentals of computers, library operation systems, databases, search engines, electronic materials, the Internet, information sociology theory and so on.

Learning Objectives
By the end of the course, students should be
able to do the following:
① Have basic knowledge of information technology related to libraries.
② Being able to operate the basic database
③ Be able to explain the basics of the Internet and computer networks
④ Being able to use the search engine in an advanced manner
⑤ Be able to explain the business system of the library.

Learning activities outside of classroom
This subject contains many exercises. Be sure to read the textbook and prepare for it. The standard for preparation and review of this class is 2 hours each.

Term-end assignment 70%
