Outline (in English)

The aim of this course is to help students acquire an understanding of the mental and physical development of children, learning theory and educational evaluation.

The goal of this course is to understand the motivation and cognitive process in learning for children and to study how to integrate this knowledge into teaching practices.
It is also our aim to understand how teacher-student relationships and each child’s disposition and developmental rate can affect their learning process and their ability to adapt to their learning environments.
We will also discuss educational psychology for learners with developmental disabilities.

Students will be expected to have completed the required assignments after each class meeting. Your study time will be more than two hours for a class.

Your overall grade in the class will be decided based on the following
Term-end examination: 70%, in class contribution: 30%
