Outline (in English)

The aim of this course is to help students learn about career counseling practices and understand the significance and methods of career counseling by studying various cases of career counseling.
The first phase is to understand the basics of career counseling.
The second phase will focus on the requirements for being a career counselor and the counseling procedures as well as the psychological assessment and the application of psychological theories in this field. Lastly, you will examine its practical usage by looking into various cases.
By the end of the course, students should be able to do followings:
-Understand the basics of career counseling, i.e.its origin, development history, uniqueness of career counseling and the reason why career counseling is required in today’s society.
-Through case studies of career counseling,
①Understand aspects of modern industrial organizations , especially the psychological problems of working people and the social needs for career counselling.
②Understand and learn how to examine of career counseling cases and help working people.
Students will be expected to have completed the required assignments after each class meeting, Your study time will be more than four hours for a class.
Your overall grade in the class will be decided based on the following
Term-end examination: 50%、Short reports including the approach attitude: 50%
