Outline (in English)

[Course outline]
 Companies face various competition in the market. And in the competition companies are required to survive and grow. Therefore, understanding how companies think and how to behave is very important for us to go into society and work in companies.
 In this lecture, you will learn the elementary knowledge to understand the company's strategy or activity, which is necessary to think about how to work in the business society and how to live.

[Learning Objectives]
 The objective of the class is to acquire the basic knowledge necessary to understand management. Specifically, the following three goals will be pursued
 (1) To understand the many frameworks related to management strategy and to acquire a perspective that enables us to analyze the various actions of a company
 (2) Understanding business systems
 (3) To be able to apply original ideas to business
 Throughout the course of the class, students will work on an assignment to create a plan for their own business. The 14 lessons will be divided into three parts.
 (1) Idea generation part
 (2) Strategy building part
 (3) Business plan preparation part

[Learning activities outside of classroom]
 Think about how companies operate, what it means for a company to compete, and with what intentions new products are launched. The standard preparation and review time for this class is 2 hours each.

[Grading Criteria /Policy]
 The following three points will be evaluated through a web-based examination and business plan assignment.
 (1)Understanding of frameworks related to business strategy
 (2)Understanding of business systems
 (3)To turn your idea into a business.
 The evaluation ratio is 40% for the web-based periodic exam and 60% for the business plan assignment. The total score is 100 points, and a score of 60 points or higher is required to pass the course.
