Outline (in English)

【Course outline】
  The objectives of this class are to learn how to use the fundamental methods of CAD (Computer Aided Design), CAM (Computer Aided Manufacturing), and CAE (Computer Aided Engineering) application programs supplied by widely-used SolidWorks, and to acquire skills for developing product modeling and finite element methods through making use of the application functions.
【Learning Objectives】
  At the end of the course, students are expected to understand and acquire the product modelings and finite element methods using CAD, CAM, and CAE.
【Learning activities outside of classroom】
  Before/after each class meeting, students will be expected to spend 4 hours to understand the course content.
【Grading Criteria /Policy】
  The total score score of 60 or more out of 100 is considered acceptable. At least 2/3 attendance is required.
