Outline (in English)
【Course outline】
This course will focus on reading Russian newspapers, journal articles, and various Internet materials. It will be mainly offered to students who have already studied elementary Russian.
【Learning Objectives】
The objectives of this course are twofold. First, it will provide training opportunities through which students will be able practice the knowledge acquired on Russian grammar and vocabulary. Second, it will enable students to acquire knowledge on various topics related to politics, economy, diplomacy, society and culture in present Russia.
【Learning activities outside of classroom】
Students are expected to read the relevant part of the textbook before class, and prepare Japanese translations by checking the meanings of words and grammatical matters. The standard preparation and review time for this class is 2 hours each.
【Grading Criteria /Policy】
Grading will be based on class contribution and the quality of assignments.

授業の概要と目的（何を学ぶか）Outline and objectives
本授業では、ロシア語園の新聞・雑誌・インターネット記事、テレビニュースなど、「生」のロシア語に触れることにより、これまで学んできたロシア語の文法・語彙を実際に用いるための訓練を行う。それに加えて、本授業では、受講者の関心に合わせて、今現在のロシアにおける政治、経済、外交、社会、文化等について新たな知識を獲得することも目指す。
到達目標Goal
(1)ロシア語の時事的な文章を辞書を用いながら読むことができる。(2)現在のロシアにおける重要なニュースについて自分の言葉で説明することができる。

本授業はテーマ群ごとに2回の授業で構成する。1回目の授業は課題配信型（オンライン）とし、各自で記事の翻訳を行い、教員がその内容を添削する。2回目の授業は対面形式で行い、記事の内容（文法事項・語彙も含む）の確認およびディスカッションを行う。講読する文章は受講者の関心に合わせて選定する。
