Outline (in English)

  Even during understanding an important basis of "topography science" as well as systematic geography in a geography, an Asian topography in detail as a target area of the world topography and a wide area topography is learned and it's learned about a description method as various regional characteristics and the topography. First Asia in the world is understood and it next is surveyed about each Asian area.
Understand the nature of Asia, which is geographically closest to Japan, and the lives of the people who live there. Based on the understanding of "natural magazines" focusing on the characteristics of various natural environments such as climate, topography, vegetation, and water environment, we will also understand cultural and social characteristics and learn how to write geographies.
Lectures on regional geography of each region and individual country from an overview of Asia as a whole. While utilizing old materials, it also introduces the latest research results and shows the current state of old and new Asia.
In addition, we will also devise ways to understand ourselves from specific data, etc., and instruct them to deepen their understanding of the "description of the geography".
In each lesson, write a summary of the lesson, questions, etc. in the attendance book and submit it, and comment on the contents in the next lesson.
In addition, we will ask you to submit a small report and a final report, evaluate each, and explain the ideal report based on the model answer.
I would like you to keep an eye on movements throughout Asia and always be aware of problems in TV news and newspaper articles. Please pay particular attention to the review.
For each lecture, it is desirable to secure 2 hours for preparation and review, 3 hours for small reports, and several hours or more for the final report.
Comprehensive evaluation based on class initiatives, assignments, and exams. In principle, 30% of efforts, 30% of tasks, and 40% of tests are conducted, but other quizzes may be conducted.
