Outline (in English)

When learning physical geography, I aim at acquisition of systematical basic knowledge about the ocean and inland water science" which is the important one field. I make domestic and abroad wide range the subject and acquire wide knowledge about a water problem in detail as an area problem.
Acquire basic knowledge of ocean / limnology, hydrography, and hydrology, and at the same time acquire basic abilities for searching, organizing, and analyzing water environment information.
In addition, you will learn how to perform from sampling to analysis of water in a specific area, spatially analyze the results, and then express it as a thematic map, and acquire the basic ability to tackle specific water environment problems.
From the perspective of water balance and water cycle as basic hydrology, we will take up a wide range of characteristics of water, such as how the properties of water react with the environment of the place and become an existence that conforms to the place. In addition, guidance will be given on how to organize, analyze, and express water environment information from a hydrographic and geographic perspective.
In each lesson, write a summary of the lesson, questions, etc. in the attendance book and submit it, and comment on the contents in the next lesson.
In addition, we will ask you to submit a small report and a final report, evaluate each, and explain the ideal report based on the model answer.
Collect and organize information on the overall water environment. Especially for newspaper articles, cut out and summarize the abstract according to the specified format. We also encourage attendance at related study groups, symposiums, and academic societies. The standard preparatory study and review time for this class is 2 hours each.
Comprehensively evaluate attendance, assignments, and test results. In principle, the points will be assigned 30% for attendance, 40% for assignments, and 30% for exams, but there is a possibility that the points will be revised by adding the experimental reports and quizzes conducted during class to the evaluation.
