Outline (in English)

This course introduces the basic knowledge of climatology and meteorology, and climate of Japan to students taking this course.
The goals of this course are to understand atmospheric phenomena from a climatological perspective.
The standard preparation and review time for this class is 2 hours each. In addition to daily weather forecasts, please consciously seek out information about climate and weather, including seasonal phenomena.
Final grade will be calculated according to the following process Mid-term report(30%), and term-end examination(70%).
