Outline (in English)

Students will learn how to gather literature and analyze data necessary for selecting a theme and preparing their graduation thesis. At the same time, students will acquire the basics of citation method and the overall composition required for producing a paper. The class aims to provide hypothesis planning skills, analytical skills, thinking skills and ability to prepare a research paper.
Students will conduct research based on the theme of the graduation thesis they have set and write an academic paper in which they argue a coherent hypothesis. By doing so they will acquire the ability to set a theme, think through the solution, and accurately communicate the contents of their hypothesis using various methods to prove its validity. Gathering and reading materials and writing papers are to be done outside of the exercise time. The standard preparation and review time for this class is two hours. The evaluation is based on ordinary points (30%) and the content of the paper (70%).
