Outline (in English)

Our objective is to Learn and understand basic human resource management theories and practices. We focus on HRM practices in Japan from comparative perspectives. HRM practices can be understood as a system. We are to focus on each area of HRM system respectively. Wage system, appraisal, recruiting and selection, training and development, internal promotion and welfare are main areas of HRM. Both lecture and discussion is expected. Students are supporsed to participate in the discussion actively. Making presentation is also required.
