Outline (in English)

The course provides a graduate level introduction to the theoretical Industrial Organization. Students will learn firms' behavior and its consequences in oligopolistic markets where the assumptions of perfect competition do not hold. For example, the pricing and marketing strategies of individual firms; the interactions between firms and anti-competitive issues. This course consists of lectures and presentations by students. Studying Industrial Organization will help you to understand how markets work in a logical way and to obtain a new perspective on firms' behaviors.
