Outline (in English)

In the first half of this class, we focus on the overall image of NPOs and their activities, including the process from planning to project implementation. In the latter half of this class, we will focus on the "human resources" involved in NPOs. In recent years, human resources that transcend the boundaries of the three sectors (tri-sector) of "businesses," "governments," and "nonprofits" have been increasingly considered as a new career to solving social problems. This class’s lecturer with careers of political and administrative bodies in addition to nonprofits will discuss the roles and significance of each sector. Students will also learn from the guest speakers’ experiences about the roles of various positions in NPOs, such as board members, staff, and pro bono, and how they should be in the future.
