Outline (in English)

In recent years, the marketing / business data environment called "big data" has been improved, the word "data scientist" is born, and marketing data analysis are required even at the business. The purchase history at the stores of the consumer is accumulated as POS or ID-POS data, and the internet browsing history by the PC, the smartphone are also recorded as the access-log data. Then, companies use such data to make marketing decisions such as deciding price, advertisement amount, sales promotion.

In this course, we will learn and study marketing science and marketing data analysis. By analyzing actual marketing data, we will learn marketing theory and data analysis and acquire practical skills. In addition, through marketing data analysis, students will acquire the ability to set their own agenda and deal with themes, as well as the presentation skills to present and share the results.
