Outline (in English)

This course provides students with an introduction to derivatives. It has four objectives: (1) To give the fundamental knowledge of financial system and derivative markets. (2) To teach the basics of derivative transactions and their applications in practice. (3) To offer the concept of the arbitrage-free pricing to evaluate derivative products including forwards and futures. (4) To introduce the applications of the derivative theory to some topics such as the forward premium puzzle.
