Outline (in English)

Creation stream:
The first half of this course teaches sketching methods as a communication process essential for design. In the second half, students learn the process of turning sketches into solid models, machining real objects from wooden materials, and how to independently verify their usability.

Technology stream:
The aim of this course is to experience how everyday phenomenon follow the laws of nature. Without awareness of natural laws we would not be able to design anything. When thinking about design, it is essential to continuously consider underlying laws of nature. In this course, students will receive hints from multiple supervisors in the technology field for finding solutions to human, physical and phenomenal related problems, thinking and learning hands-on about such laws through their concrete experiences.
