Outline (in English)

During study at university, the importance of freeing oneself from a passive learning approach, independent investigation and adoption of an active approach to learning cannot be understated. Particularly for technical courses within system design, the independent process of approaching new topics, proposing in turn hypotheses and solutions, and though teamwork improving those ideas to reach a solution is vital for raising new talent. The objective of this course is to acquire necessary skills by learning data investigation methods, logical report writing and presentation skills, and applying independent reasoning, discussion and report summaries to topics while gaining experience in presenting one's point of view. This theme of learning approaches is common to all courses in system design, and the principle which drives an integrated syllabus in this course.
