Outline (in English)
This course is designed to develop language skills necessary for students to express themselves in English. The emphasis is on oral communication, and we will practice listening and speaking skills. Students will make several presentations throughout the semester. Students may also be required to write paragraphs and short essays.

Learning practical English for communicating in a global society.

Although emphasis is on oral communication, students will practice and improve proficiency in all four language skills. Students will be able to comfortably express themselves clearly in discussions and during presentations.

This course will be given entirely in English and in principal all class sessions will be face to face. Students will participate in a variety of activities that encourage listening and speaking English. These activities include dialogues, pair and group discussions, and presentations given by students on various topics of interest.
Feedback on students' performance will be given in class, as well as through written assignments in class and online. Students may also correspond with the instructor using e-mail.

Students who are absent for a presentation day must provide documentation for their absence, such as a COVID certificate.
