This course is designed to help students continue to improve their understanding of the language skills needed to effectively communicate in today's English speaking world.
到達目標Goal
Students will continue to develop the ability to accurately and fluently express themselves, both orally and in writing.
Students will further develop the skill to match meaning with form, thereby learning to make better choices when participating in English communication.

Students will work mostly in pairs and in small groups. Students will practise new material covered by the teacher, both in class and for homework. There will be several short presentation tasks, performed alone, and in small groups. Feedback on all tasks will be provided.

We review and practise all the skills learned hitherto.

授業時間外の学習(準備学習・復習・宿題等)Work to be done outside of class (preparation, etc.)
本授業の準備学習・復習時間は、合わせて1時間を標準とします。Students are expected to review all material covered in class, and to prepare adequately for speaking tests. University guidelines suggest preparation and review should be around an hour a week for a one-credit course.

Participation: (including the timely completion of all homework assignments) 30%
Speaking Tests: 70%
