Outline (in English)
Course outline:
This course deals with the development English communication in written and spoken forms as it relates to aspects of the English speaking world.
Learning Objectives:
By the end of the course, students should be able to do the followings:
−Further develop knowledge and skills gained in English 1 & 2 classes.
−Develop critical thinking skills on important current issues.
−More effectively integrate usage of the four skill areas (reading, listening, speaking, and writing) in a variety of English communication situations
Learning activities outside of classroom:
Students will be expected to have completed the assigned homework exercises after each class meeting and review before each in-class quiz given. Your study time will be more than four hours for a class.

To develop students' ability to think critically and express their own thoughts and opinions on current issues and topics observed in the English speaking world

Students will further develop their English communication proficiency by integrating the four skills of reading, writing, speaking, and listening in the communication tasks undertaken during the course.

The course will utilize pair work and group work for discussion activities. There will also be regular presentations made by students on topics covered throughout the course.
Feedback on submitted assignments and quizzes will be given at the beginning of the following class.
