授業の概要と目的(何を学ぶか)Outline and objectives
Students will participate in a variety of activities designed to help them relax, enjoy and improve their English conversation skills. Attention is given to pronunciation, intonation and stress. Various topics and situations are covered, but everything will be connected to culture, or cultural differences, which is basic to all forms of communication.
到達目標Goal
Through this course, the students will aim for fluency, exchange opinions and enhance critical thinking skills. They will overcome the fear or shyness in expressing themselves and be able to speak with increased confidence in private as well as public speaking situations. They will also acquire basic ways to examine what culture is and the effects that it may have on us. This should reflect positively on TOEFL(R), TOEIC(R), IELTS and other certifying examinations.
